In Calle Goles Calle Goles is in the casco antiguo, the old center of Seville, near the river and within walking distance of all the important sites as well as the principal pedestrian-only shopping area. It is especially convenient for the Holy Week processions, all of which pass the Plaza del Duque at the end of calle Banos. Outside the patio in calle Goles there are two small grocery stores, fruit and vegetable store, a small supermarket and two cafes. Parking in the street is possible but not easy during the day. There is plenty of paid parking, however, available around the corner and at the end of the street. On the riverside boulevard, city buses can be taken in either direction around the Ronda, the street that follows the walls of the old city, and a few steps away at La Plaza de Armas is the bus station which serves all the outlying towns and the coast. Bicycle rentals: A new city-wide bicycle rental scheme has been introduced and there is a rental station a block away on Torneo. |
